This Privacy Policy explains how Maturity Ledger (the “App”) handles information when you use the App.
Maturity Ledger is designed to help you manage deposits, maturity dates, interest, returns, and related financial records privately.
The developer does not operate a user-account system or a separate server for storing your ledger. The App does not sell your information, serve advertising, track you across apps or websites, or connect to your bank or other financial institution.
The developer does not collect:
The App does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
Information you enter into the App—such as asset names, principal amounts, interest rates, maturity dates, returns, notes, holder profiles, and reminders—is stored locally on your device by default.
This information remains under your control. The developer does not receive it.
If you enable iCloud sync, the App uses Apple CloudKit to synchronize your App data through your private iCloud database across devices signed in to your iCloud account.
iCloud sync is optional. The developer does not operate a separate synchronization server. Data stored or transmitted through iCloud is handled by Apple and is subject to Apple’s terms and privacy practices. You can disable iCloud sync in the App, although copies already stored in iCloud may remain until deleted through the App or managed through your Apple account and iCloud settings.
The App may allow you to select photos, PDFs, or other supported files for quick entry, document recognition, backup, restore, or attachment-related features.
When you export or back up information, the resulting file may contain sensitive financial information. You choose where that file is saved or shared. Once it leaves the App, its handling is governed by the destination, service, or person you select. You are responsible for protecting exported files.
If you enable App Lock, the App may ask iOS to authenticate you using Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode, depending on your device and settings.
Authentication is performed by the operating system. The App does not access or store your biometric template or biometric data. The App receives only the authentication result needed to unlock the App.
If you grant notification permission, the App may schedule local notifications on your device for maturity dates or other reminders you configure.
The developer does not use these notifications for advertising and does not receive the content of your reminders. You can change notification permission at any time in iOS Settings.
When iCloud sync is enabled, Apple’s CloudKit infrastructure may use system notifications to keep data synchronized. These are service-related and are not promotional messages from the developer.
If you use a Maturity Ledger widget, the App may store a limited summary snapshot in its private App Group container so the widget can display information you choose to make available on your device.
This information is stored locally within the App’s protected container and is not sent to the developer.
Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit.
The developer does not receive or store your payment card number or billing credentials. The App may receive product, transaction, and subscription-entitlement information from Apple as needed to complete a purchase, restore purchases, and unlock paid features. Apple handles App Store account and payment information under its own terms and privacy practices.
The App may provide built-in reference exchange rates and allow you to enter or adjust rates manually. The current version does not send your financial records or personal information to a third-party exchange-rate provider.
Exchange rates shown in the App are informational and may not match the rate available from a bank, broker, payment service, or other financial institution.
The developer does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics providers.
Information may be processed by Apple only when necessary to provide services you choose to use, such as iCloud sync, App Store purchases, system authentication, notifications, or system file and photo pickers. Apple’s handling of that information is governed by Apple’s applicable terms and privacy policies.
The developer may disclose information only if legally required and only to the extent the developer actually possesses such information. Because the App is designed without a developer-operated account or data server, the developer generally does not possess your ledger data.
Locally stored App data remains on your device until you delete individual records, use the App’s data-deletion controls, or remove the App and its local data.
If iCloud sync is enabled, changes and deletions may synchronize across your devices through your private iCloud database. Apple may retain recoverable or backup copies according to its own iCloud policies and system behavior.
Deleting the App may not automatically delete data already stored in iCloud or copies you previously exported. You can manage iCloud data through the App and your Apple account or device settings. Exported files must be deleted separately from every location where you saved or shared them.
If you need help understanding how to delete App data, contact the developer using the email address below.
The App relies on Apple platform protections, sandboxing, optional device authentication, and Apple’s security mechanisms for local and iCloud data. You should protect your device, Apple account, passcode, exported files, and backups.
No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children or from any other user. If you believe that information has been provided to the developer in error, please contact the developer so the issue can be reviewed.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding personal information, including rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict its processing.
Because the developer does not operate an account system or collect your ledger data, most data-control actions are performed directly in the App, on your device, or through your Apple and iCloud settings. You may contact the developer with any privacy question or request.
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the App’s features, data practices, or legal requirements change. The “Last Updated” date at the top will be revised when changes are made. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel, such as an App update, an in-App notice, or the page where this policy is published.
